The challenge
As a global leader in technology services, Capgemini recognized the urgent need to future-proof its workforce amidst the transformative wave and rise of generative AI. With thousands of employees globally to upskill, the challenge lay in rapidly equipping employees with the latest AI tools to enable rapid experimentation and innovation.
The opportunity
At the same time, Capgemini sought to build a repository of AI solutions that delivered immediate, tangible impact to their clients. These use cases targeted specific priority industries, including retail, automotive, financial services, government, energy, aerospace & defence, telecommunications and life sciences.
A new era of generative AI hackathons
We began partnering with Capgemini to deliver our first large-scale generative AI hackathon with Google Cloud. Since then, our partnership has evolved to include new AI technology partners including Microsoft and AWS.

Our solution — engaging large-scale hackathons
We custom-built large-scale 2 week virtual hackathons, engaging thousands of employees across 40+ countries in the latest Generative AI tools, including Google Gemini, Microsoft Azure OpenAI, GitHub CoPilot and Amazon Bedrock.
These dynamic events not only enhanced the technical proficiency of Capgemini’s developers and consultants, but also fostered tangible innovation, resulting in a robust repository of client-ready AI solutions.
